Elections have consequences. It matters who controls Congress, state governments, and local institutions. Beating the
current rhetoric and divisiveness coming from the white house is a general election goal, and it’s absolutely necessary if
we are to stop this Administration from causing further harm. We need leaders who will fight every day for progressive
values, embrace diversity, support electing Latinos to office, protect both immigrant and the LGBTQ community rights
and support the mission and message of the CT Hispanic Democratic Caucus (CHDC). That means we have to care about
who wins not just the general election, but primary elections as well. The CHDC is a grassroots statewide political
organization that has fostered significant efforts to support candidates for constitutional office, municipal boards and
commissions that reflect our demographic, diversity and values.

Therefore, the CT Hispanic Democratic Caucus is proud to endorse the following candidates:
• Toni Harp - Mayor, City of New Haven
• Luke Bronin - Mayor, City of Hartford
